FORMULA 1 GULF AIR BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX 2026
The Bahrain Grand Prixโข made its debut in 2004 as the first F1ยฎ race in the Middle East. It became a night race for the first time in 2014, adding a mesmerizing element to the event, and it also spent several years as the season-opener. F1ยฎ holds its Pre-Season Testing at Bahrain International Circuit before the season gets underway. A great place to catch some sun, Bahrain is also home to a number of awe-inspiring resorts. While the number of grandstands around the track in Sakhir is limited, fans will often see a โduel in the desertโ thanks to the circuitโs unique setup.
IMPORTANT UPDATE
After careful evaluations, due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East region, the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix will not take place in April. While several alternatives were considered, it was ultimately decided that no substitutions will be made in April. The Formula 2, Formula 3 and F1 ACADEMY rounds will also not take place during their scheduled times. The decision has been taken in full consultation with the FIA and respective promoters.
