I just wanted to take a moment to clarify when you should expect to receive your Welcome Kit package.
Our Club’s main office in Maranello created these kits as a gift from Ferrari for all members. All members receive a WK pack annually, throughout the year, upon registering or renewing their membership, subject to the availability of their components during the year.
They state that this process could take up to two months, from the day of your official registration until we receive your kit here in Orlando from Italy. This delivery time may vary depending on the production schedule of its components or at the sole discretion of the club management in Maranello. We have no control over this process here in Orlando. (All this information is on our website. Likewise, this estimated Welcome Kit delivery window is also in the welcome email you received with your virtual ID card upon registration.)
Things to Consider:
- Our main office in Italy manages more than 200 clubs worldwide with over 20,000 active members worldwide. (There are 185 clubs in Italy along – Italian clubs have priority for all deliveries.)
- The Welcome Kit contains components associated with each F1 season, such as the new car of the year, uniforms, new sponsors, etc. For these reasons, they usually begin producing some of these critical components in late February or early March, after the new car is unveiled. Unfortunately, this means that members who signed up or renewed their membership between January and May will likely receive their boxes in late June or July.
- Summer Vacation: I don’t know if you know, but in Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, and some other countries, August is vacation time; no one works for 4 or 5 weeks.
Typically, during the second half of the year, these registration cycles close on the 27th of each month, and during the following weeks, all the personalized ID cards for that month are printed and all the Welcome Kit components are prepared for shipment to more than 200 clubs around the world. Here in Orlando, we receive these boxes unassembled, so we have to assemble them manually and prepare individual shipping labels for each member.
In conclusion, if you enrolled/renew during the first half of the year, you can expect to receive your Welcome Kit in late June or early July. And if you enroll/renew after June, you could receive it up to two months after your enrollment date.
